Juju first started cosplay about a year ago and fell in love. Cosplaying anime and video game characters has been her passion since then. One of her biggest goals, especially as a young cosplayer, is that she can promote the idea that cosplay is not consent. She enjoys going to cons, meeting new people, and creating her cosplays.

Queerness in Cosplay
Trans, two-spirit, and nonbinary cosplayers face unique challenges in the costuming world. Issues like dysphoria, body and/or ability shaming, and misogyny can be barriers to support and enjoying the art of cosplay. How is queer identity and acceptance being positively represented in the costuming community? What's being done to encourage the community to be more inclusive?
