Clan Grand Melee – CANCELLED
Saturday TBA
Sign-up required
A Grand Melee is the Clan term for a particular type of Trial that is often associated with the preliminary stages of a Trial of Bloodright.
The Grand Melee Trial is used to determine which warrior will compete in the thirty-second slot of the tournament-structured Bloodright Trial. Any qualified warrior of a given heritage who was not nominated by a Bloodnamed warrior, or by a committee within the Clan and Bloodhouse, can press his or her claim to compete for the Bloodname through entering this trial.
On the day of the trial, all warriors present will do battle at once in what is described as a tremendous brawl, bereft of zellbrigen or any other consideration except for victory. Each warrior fights by their chosen method, be it a ‘Mech, an Elemental battle armor suit, or an aerospace fighter. Besides the implied prohibition on teamwork, there are no rules to a Grand Melee. The winner is sometimes said to be lucky, and tends to simply be the one that survives to the end, alone.
Traditional decorum of the Trial itself may differ from Clan to Clan.

Dragon Rampant
Saturday 12pm – 5pm
Isildur and his guard are returning to their homes in the North after defeating Sauron in the great battle in the South. Isildur is carrying the One Ring of Power which he cut from Sauron’s hand in the battle. His intent is to deliver it to Rivendell.
They are traveling north on the east side of the Anduin River, with Greenwood (Mirkwood in later days) to the east.
As they make camp, they are attacked by a force of orcs out of the wood, which is easily repelled. With the expectation that more orcs will soon arrive, the decision is made to break camp and head north through the night. As they move north in the gathering darkness, the Dúnedain see ominous shadows creeping out of the woods.
Unlike the ‘historical’ version of this tale, wherein the Elven relief force arrived too late to help, we are imagining in this scenario that they arrive in time to assist.

Grand Archivist Zarta Dralneen has determined that the skull is from Quantium, the magic-filled capital of Nex. She dispatches a group of Pathfinders to conduct a simple research mission and guide the skull around the city, hoping to jar the skull’s memories and learn the truth.

One such settlement became a new home for a Pathfinder agent—a dedicated member of the Radiant Oath faction—who had been traveling in Lastwall when the nation fell. The agent decided to help those in need rather than flee the Gravelands, and they’ve managed to keep the settlement protected… so far.
Now, with the settlement burgeoning with refugees and the Whispering Tyrant’s forces drawing near, the agent has made a desperate attempt to reach a Pathfinder lodge in Ustalav.
